Cute! The painting is defined just enough so you can get the picture. It's very clear, nothing to distract you or obscure the main point of it. For the originality, I haven't seen a painting of an animal in this style. Nonetheless, it's a cat, which is slightly overused and a popular subject in art. Your technique is excellent, there is a sense of depth and shadow despite the style. The impact isn't much for me, it's just a cat sitting around. But over this is a great example of an animal painting in this style, and is certainly adorable.
